Introduction to Sharing Art with Children in the Montessori Way
This workshop is suitable for all Montessori educators. It includes a 1.5-hour presentation followed by a Q&A, which covers the philosophy and methods of Sharing Art With Children in the Montessori Way. You will learn to prepare yourself, prepare the environment, and provide your students with meaningful and developmentally appropriate creative experiences. Participants will also learn new ways to approach art education, how to integrate art into other curricular areas, how to talk to children about their work, and strategies for assessment and record keeping. Most importantly they will walk away with the confidence to share art with children. This workshop is perfect for in-service training or as part of any Montessori teacher-training program (best if accompanied by books from Suite I, II, III or IV.) For pricing and scheduling please contact Julie at email@example.com.
The best way to prepare yourself to share art with your students is to experience it yourself. Experience what your children will as they discover materials for the first time, or find new ways of using materials they are familiar with. There are not accidents in art, only discoveries.
